Even though the storyline was good enough, the screenplay was disappointing, to say the least. The few characters onscreen fail to make an impression from any given scene. Many scenes don’t seem to convey the emotions of the characters involved. Don’t get me wrong, there is plot, there is acting, there are sub-plots (which by the way, can be skipped without the loss of any kind of context whatsoever to the main storyline), there is good music sometimes, but overall there was something not quite right about how the story proceeds in time. I enjoyed the first few episodes really well, but it just went downhill way too fast and nothing could stop it from burying itself deeper.
